What a wonderful world!. We've been to and seen a lot of amazing places in North America, traveling in our RVs over the last 20+ years. Starting with our superb national parks, including Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion, and  ranging from the wilds of the Yukon, complete with more moose, bears, glaciers, and waterfalls than we could count, to the  the beaches of San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez, with the endless sand dollars covering the shoreline and the gentle breezes that remind you that it's time to relax and enjoy everything.

We've also seen other parts of the world, not just the world famous places like the Swiss Alps and the Eiffel Tower, but also unique and personal places, like the beaches of Normandy, the canals of Venice, the small island of Santorini--so many astounding locations and wonderful people. Our recent trips to Berlin and Maui reminded us that there are a lot of places to go and things to do outside of North America, so we are going to switch venues for awhile and explore the rest of the world. For those of you who have followed WanderingWells.com over the years, you know that we have spent more than two decades traveling and exploring in our RVs:

• Starting with our '89 Allegro, while we were both still working for IBM, we saw a lot of Texas State Parks other interesting nearby destinations in Texas and New Mexico.
• Moving on to our trusty Southwind, we full-timed for almost seven years, with adventures ranging down the Copper Canyon by train, spending a year following spring up the West coast from San Diego to Fairbanks, and other more explorations across North America.
• Stepping up our beautiful American Tradition for extended trips ranging from island hopping in the Maritimes--PEI to Nova Scotia to Newfoundland--to island hopping in the Florida Keys .
• Down-sizing to our cute little Monaco Simba, which Chester called the "sportster" of RVs, just the right size for a ferry trip up the Inside Passage to Alaska.
• Settling finally into our wonderful Beaver Monterey motorcoach, which we have not had  enough time to enjoy as much as we would have liked, but have loved more than any RV that we have had...great times with summers on the Oregon coast, winter trekking to  Palm Springs and Arizona, and a lot of time in the great northwest.

  We think that it's time to head in different directions, west to Maui and then to other points north, east, south, and west that are only accessible to RVs with wings or floats (not readily available ;-). So we're giving up RVing for now--we would never say "for good" because it's been such an amazing part of our lives--it's time to set our sights on new horizons for now.
